Kementec is a successful and financially strong Danish company – and one of Europe’s leading manufactures of ELISA substrates and buffers for immunoassays. The company delivers ELISA, immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry components to biotech, pharmaceutical and immunoassay manufacturers and research laboratories in more than 30 countries worldwide. Components are produced in batch sizes from 10 to 1500 liters. Kementec excels at offering customers an optimum mix of services which are unique within its field. They are in all 25 people, including a subsidiary in the USA, and are part of the German group R-Biopharm AG.

The role

Kementec is in a positive development and has experienced double-digit growth in 2022. They are now expanding the Operations department with a new Scientist. You will become part of a well-functioning team of 9 competent colleagues who take care of production, quality control/QC, process/product optimization, and sourcing of raw materials. You will report to the Head of Operations.

This is a supporting role where you will work closely together with all team members across the whole department. You will be responsible for documentation and data processing, coordination/execution of projects of variable size and complexity and will be delegated process responsible for QMS cases. Important tasks are:

• Handle QMS cases such as deviations, change controls, corrective actions, and planned deviations in close collaboration with the team
• Update and maintenance of documents (e.g., SOPs) in the electronic document management system D4InfoNet
• Initiate, drive, and coordinate improvement projects/tasks independently
• Review and approve documentation from colleagues including production and QC documentation

You have a natural science education at master level, e.g., within (bio)chemistry, biology, biotechnology, or pharmacy combined with min. 3 years' experience with documentation and case handling according to ISO 9001 or GMP, potentially from a production, process, or QC support role. Your experience can come from life science, food, or chemical industry.

Knowledge of ELISA and other immunochemical analyzes is an advantage.

You thrive with writing, reviewing and interpretating documents and procedures, as well as helping you colleagues on improving workflows and reducing errors. Furthermore, you like to take responsibility and possess good planning and coordination skills. Finally, you master Danish and English fluently both orally and written.
