This year, our annual donation goes to Nationalpark Skjoldungernes Land (Land of the Scyldings National Park), named after the legendary Scylding kings who, according to ancient stories, ruled the area around the city Lejre in Denmark. The name traces back to the myth of the boy Skjold, who was found alone on a drifting ship and later became a unifying king of the people.

Their mission is to protect, preserve and develop the park’s unique nature, landscapes and cultural heritage - while promoting sustainable outdoor activities, education, local community involvement, tourism and nature based experiences.

By supporting Nationalpark Skjoldungernes Land, we contribute to vital efforts for biodiversity, conservation of natural and cultural treasures, and ensure that future generations can enjoy these landscapes for hiking, bird watching, kayaking, local history and much more.

We believe it’s more than just a donation: it’s an investment in nature, culture and community.
