For the past couple of years, we have had the Ice Pack Program.

The program consists of a collaboration between Kementec and several Danish universities. We aim to promote sustainability by reusing ice packs that would otherwise go to waste. Instead of discarding them, we collect the ice packs from shipments, ensuring they are reused efficiently. This initiative not only extends the lifespan of the ice packs but also reduces energy consumption associated with their disposal by incineration.

In 2022, we collected 1455 kg of ice packs, followed by 1435 kg in 2023. We're thrilled by the positive feedback we've received and are committed to further expanding our Sustainable Partnership Program.
